Calling all kid architects! Come build cardboard creations with us! We are excited to have 2 Chompsaws this year and lots of Makedo pieces, which are awesome kid-friendly tools for creating with cardboard. It's going to be epic!

Come make messes and memories with us as we explore the fundamentals of art: colour, shape, texture, composition, and most importantly PLAY! This is process art; hands-on, exploratory and jam-packed sensory fun.

Come tell tall tales with us! We'll be stretching our storytelling muscles through inventing silly characters, making puppets, wearing costumes and more! This is process art paired with self-expression and lots of hands-on learning.

Registration ***
When you submit an online registration form, you'll receive an email confirming your camper has saved a spot at Art Camp.
We are limited in capacity, so spots will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis.
Payment ***
Payment for art camp will be due (1) week after you've received the confirmation email that you've secured a spot.
If payment is not paid on time, your spot will be offered to the next name on the waitlist. This is due to limited capacity.
Cancellations ***
If you need to cancel for the full week, please do so no later than 2 weeks before camp. There will be no refunds after this date.
There will be no refunds for missed days of camp.
For cancellations due to extreme weather, low enrollment, or something else beyond our control (illness, etc), a full refund will be issued. We'll notify of cancellations via email.
Snacks ***
We provide a healthy mid-morning snack. This could include: yogurt, cheese, crackers, veggies & dip, apple sauce, fruit. If you have allergies, please specify in the registration form.
Drop-off & Pick-up ***
Drop-off time is anytime between 8:30am - 8:45am. Please let us know if you're going to be late, as we may be planning to leave the premises for a walk, etc.
Pick-up time is from 11:45am - 12:00pm. If you are going to be late, please let us know ahead of time. Otherwise there is a penalty of $5 for each 5 minutes late.
Only authorized grownups are allowed to drop-off and pick-up campers. Please notify us ahead of time if you need to add another safe grownup to your authorized pick-up sheet.
Clothing ***
Art camp is messy! Please make sure your kiddo is dressed in appropriate clothing. We are not responsible for damaged items.
Safety ***
We use non-toxic & washable art materials, and age-appropriate tools (rounded scissors for little ones, etc). Campers are always supervised during their stay with us.
We have first-aid training, child abuse checks, & police checks up-to-date.

We will be exploring lots of materials like paint, cardboard, yarn, stamps, markers, scissors & glue, sticks & leaves, household objects - whatever we can get our hands on to experiment and make messes!
What should I bring? What should I wear?
What should I bring? What should I wear?
Bring a waterbottle and a hat, and wear sunscreen! Please wear clothes you can get messy and dirty in! On extra hot days we cool off with water activities, so feel free to pack a towel.

Yes, we do! We are always looking for ways to reduce our environmental impact. We often shop thrifted, and welcome any supplies that you are done with or wish to pass on. If you'd like to donate, please reach out by emailing hello@hodgepodgie.co!
